Terms of Service

Last Updated: September 18, 2026

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Block Poster (blockposter.org) and its related web tools. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue using the service. The platform is provided for lawful personal, educational, and professional workflows such as multi-page poster slicing, image splitting, grid layout generation, and client-side PDF document compilation executed locally within your web browser.

1. User Content & Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the images and content you process through Block Poster. You must possess the necessary rights, licenses, or permissions to edit, transform, slice, and distribute any image or graphic you load into the tool interface.

You agree not to use the service to violate copyright, privacy, trademark, or any third-party intellectual property rights, nor use the tools to generate unlawful, defamatory, abusive, deceptive, or harmful materials.

2. Service Terms & Availability

  • The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • While we strive for maximum uptime and accurate slicing calculations, uninterrupted availability, browser compatibility, and bug-free operation cannot be guaranteed.
  • Features, supported image formats, layout options, and performance thresholds may be modified, improved, or discontinued without prior notice.
  • Personal, educational, and commercial uses are permitted, but unauthorized resale of the service, automated scraping abuse, reverse engineering, or unauthorized white-label redistribution is strictly prohibited.
  • You must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights, titles, and interests in the website design, user interface, brand assets, source code, algorithms, and software implementation remain the exclusive property of Block Poster and its licensors.

Your source images, graphics, and outputs remain strictly yours. Because image slicing and PDF generation occur client-side in your local browser, we do not claim ownership, licensing rights, or any copyright over media processed via our tools.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Block Poster, its operators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages—including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, business disruption, printer toner/paper waste, or downstream publishing errors resulting from the use or inability to use our tools.

You are encouraged to preview and inspect your grid coordinates and PDF outputs prior to final printing or physical cutting, especially for commercial campaigns or large-scale projects.

5. Severability & Governing Law

If any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service periodically to reflect changes in our tools, technology, or legal obligations. When changes are published, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be updated. Your continued use of Block Poster after such modifications constitutes your agreement to the revised terms.
